Obedience is the foundation to a successful relationship between you and your dog. This class is designed for people training just as much as dog training. In a basic obedience course your dog will learn the five obedience commands while on a leash: heel, sit, stay, down and come. Each class will also give invaluable training philosophies that each pet parent can apply on a daily basis to help be proactive and develop well rounded furry family members. Every week we will teach all five commands. The training will be advanced the further you progress in your six sessions. $200 for a 6 week course. You will have 8 weeks from your first class to complete six sessions. Includes 30 day access to Rob Kuty’s online course, Obedience in 3 Easy Steps to supplement your training! Don’t delay, Obedience classes usually have a wait list, email us to enroll.

Unleash the athlete in your pet! Agility training is a great structured way for your dog to be stimulated, build confidence, release energy and have fun! Dogs will learn how to jump hurdles, run through tunnels, weave through poles, amongst other awesome activities. All classes include dog social play off leash in a safe, secure, fenced area. Each class will work on piecing the obstacles trained during that session into a course. More challenging obstacles such as the weave poles and teeter totter will be trained every session. The as you progress in your six classes the more challenging the class will become for you and your dog. If your dog is not dog social they will be ask not to socialize. You can talk with us to set up private sessions to address proper dog socialization. By the end of the course dogs will be able to complete runs through an entire obstacle course! $185.00 for a 6 week course. You will have 8 weeks from the start of your first class to complete 6 sessions. Shoot us an email if you would like to join in on the fun!
Private training sessions are tailored to each owner’s specific needs and can include correcting undesired behaviors such as aggression, anxiety, and fear. They are also great for first time pet owners who need help with housebreaking or even experienced owners who would like their dog to perform obedience off leash. SDPT can also conduct private sessions to help you work with cats, pigs and macaws and ways to keep these animals stimulated and challenged. Sessions typically take place in your home. However, they can be held in any area that will best help you and your dog accomplish your goals. Typically, the first appointment is 90 minutes in length and follow up appointments are 60 minutes each. Sessions can be scheduled 7 days a week, at any time of day, to work with your scheduling needs. Rob typically books 1-2 weeks out for private appointments so don’t delay in getting scheduled!

Always wanted a dog that could work off leash? Take your training to the next level! Owners can refine the five obedience commands, transition to a 20-foot long line and apply distractions. The dogs and owners will be taught how to work without a leash and some courses take place at Fiesta Island to apply the teachings to a real life scenario. It is recommended that dogs complete the obedience course before enrolling in the intermediate and advanced obedience courses. Dates will be announced obedience and courses will form quarterly. Join our newsletter at the top of this page to receive announcements on new classes.
