Puppy Class, Saturdays 10:00 a.m.
Puppy training is one of the most important investments you can make for you and your pet’s future. Every class includes on and off leash dog socialization in a safe, secure area. The group puppy course will focus on common puppy issues such as leash pulling, nipping, chewing, jumping, house breaking and more. Puppies will also learn confidence building, introductions to basic obedience and socialization. Puppies must be fully vaccinated, including rabies, to participate in the group puppy class. Each session will also give invaluable training philosophies that each pet parent can apply on a daily basis to help be proactive and develop well rounded furry family member. You can start any Saturday that works best with your schedule. This class is geared for dogs under 5 months of age depending on breed and size.
Obedience, Saturdays 11:30 a.m. or 2:30 p.m.
Obedience is the foundation to a successful relationship between you and your dog. This class is designed for people training just as much as dog training. Every obedience class includes on and off leash dog socialization in a safe, secure fenced area. If your dog is not social with other dogs, we can speak with you regarding private sessions to address socialization. In a basic obedience course your dog will learn the five obedience commands while on a leash: heel, sit, stay, down and come. Each class will also give invaluable training philosophies that each pet parent can apply on a daily basis to help be proactive and develop well rounded furry family members. Every week we will teach all five commands. The training will be advanced the further you progress in your six sessions. You can begin any Saturday that works best for your schedule!
Dog Agility, Saturdays 1:00 p.m.
Unleash the athlete in your pet! Agility training is a great structured way for your dog to be stimulated, build confidence, release energy and have fun! Dogs will learn how to jump hurdles, run through tunnels, weave through poles, amongst other awesome activities. All classes include dog social play off leash in a safe, secure, fenced area. Each class will work on piecing the obstacles trained during that session into a course. More challenging obstacles such as the weave poles and teeter totter will be trained every session. The as you progress in your six classes the more challenging the class will become for you and your dog. If your dog is not dog social they will be ask not to socialize. You can talk with us to set up private sessions to address proper dog socialization. By the end of the course dogs will be able to complete runs through an entire obstacle course! You can begin any Saturday that works best for you and your pup.
Always wanted a dog that could work off leash? Take your training to the next level! In this class owners will refine the five obedience commands, transition to a 20-foot long line and apply distractions. The dogs and owners will be taught how to work without a leash and all sessions will take place at Fiesta Island to apply the teachings to a real life scenario. It is recommended that dogs complete the obedience course before enrolling in the advanced obedience course. Advanced obedience dates will be announced obedience and courses will form quarterly.
